It's  just around the corner!

Here's a brilliant idea - try a vintage-style teddy!   They are feminine and work well for double layering.  For the outer layer you could go feminine all the way or mix it up with "something masculine like wide-leg trousers and a blazer - very boardroom to bedroom", says Jennifer Zuccarini, found and creative director of Fleur du Mal.

This  beautiful teddy is from La Perla and mixes well with any choice of clothing.  I love the vintage Marilyn Monroe feel!

Like something a less constructed and softer?  This cotton teddy is ideal for you.  I love the hint of black with the bow and straps.  Reminiscent of the 20's.

These teddies are designed for body control with their built in spandex panels. The one on the right has a 40's feel.

This teddy feels so deconstructed, so sheer, it reminds me of the 20's and would fit seamlessly under a jersey dress or similar.

Word of advice about wearing black; black can look really harsh and bring out all sorts of shadows and lines on the face, if you don't know the "right" black to wear.  If I've done your Colorz, you know what works, if not and you feel unsure, steer clear of black!

Happy styling and Happy Valentine's Day!
